Mexican tile colors are well defined. They include yellow, orange, blue, cobalt, green, red and terra cotta. Some tiles in Mexico are painted with the white background first and then washed with one of color paints. Those talavera tiles look like there were produced by hand in Spain centuries ago. Each tile looks different, there are not two tiles alike. They vary not only in shape but also in shades from dark to light. Mexican tile colors are shown on the main blog post photo and they are a core of decorating ceramics in Dolores Hidalgo. The other type of color tiles are solid. They have evenly spreed paint over them so they look less rustic.
